My in-home newborn sessions are gentle, relaxed and completely baby-led. There’s no rushing and plenty of time for feeding, cuddling, settling and simply enjoying your baby.

Newborn sessions don't need to be rushed!
Your baby might sleep through the whole thing. They might need several feeds. They might want to be cuddled. They might be wide awake and curious about everything happening around them.
That's all completely normal.
I work around your baby's needs, allowing plenty of time for feeding, settling, cuddling and nappy changes.
There is never any pressure to make your baby behave a certain way for the camera.

In-Home Newborn Photography
I’m a mostly natural-light photographer, bringing the session to you in the comfort of your own home. My approach is warm, gentle and nurturing, with plenty of time to feed, cuddle, settle and take breaks -
nothing is rushed.
You’ll have access to my complimentary wardrobe for Mum and baby, while I bring a professional photography setup with a selection of colours, wraps and props so we can create beautifully styled portraits alongside natural, candid lifestyle images.
And because we’re at home, siblings can be involved for their photographs and then go off and play when they’re finished, keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable for everyone.
The result is a gallery filled with both gently posed portraits and genuine, in-between candid moments that capture your baby and your family exactly as you are in this beautiful season.

1). Session Fees
Outdoor Newborn Session: $150
A relaxed 1-hour outdoor session for families wanting natural-light photographs in a beautiful outdoor setting.
In-Home Newborn Session: $250
A relaxed 2-hour session in the comfort of your own home.
Session fees are payable at the time of booking to secure your date.
Your Session Fee Includes:

Images are purchased separately after your session, giving you the freedom to choose the collection and images you love once you've seen your photographs.
2). Shoot Day
On the day, I'll come to you and take the time to settle in, get comfortable and let your baby lead the way. We'll gently work through a mix of softly posed portraits and natural lifestyle moments, with plenty of time for feeds, cuddles and breaks. Nothing is rushed! Just a warm, relaxed experience focused on capturing your family as you are.
3). Choosing Your Images
Once your session is complete, you'll receive access to a private online preview gallery where you can take your time looking through your photographs.
From there, you can choose your favourite images and select the collection that best suits what you'd like to keep.
Your collection is purchased after your session, so you don't need to decide how many images you want before you've seen your photographs.
No pressure, no guesswork — just the freedom to choose the images you truly love.

We'll also chat about the photographs that are most important to you.
You don't need to know exactly what you want — I'll guide you.
On The Day
When I arrive, we'll take a few minutes to settle in and meet your baby.
I'll have a look around your home and find the areas with the best light.
From there, we simply follow your baby's lead.
If they need a feed, we stop.
If they need a cuddle, we cuddle.
If they need a nappy change, we take a break.
There is no rushing and no expectation that your baby needs to cooperate.
My aim is for the session to feel calm and relaxed rather than like another thing you need to get through.

FAQ
When Should We Have Newborn Photos?
I recommend booking your newborn session while you're pregnant so we can reserve a space around your due date.
For families wanting those classic sleepy, curled-up newborn photographs, the first 0–4 weeks are generally ideal.
But don't worry if your baby is older.
There is no deadline for beautiful newborn photographs.
Older babies bring their own expressions, personality and interaction, and these can make for incredibly special photographs too.
If your baby has already arrived, you're still welcome to get in touch. I'll always do my best to find a date for you.
Why In-Home Newborn Photography?
The first weeks with a new baby can be exhausting.
You don't need to pack up the nappy bag, load everyone into the car and travel somewhere unfamiliar.
Instead, I come to you.
You can feed your baby in your own chair, change them in their own room and take a break whenever you need to.
And years from now, you'll have photographs showing not only your baby, but the home they came home to.
The nursery.
The couch where you spent countless hours cuddling.
The little details that made this season yours.
Those things become part of their story too.
What Should We Wear?
My style is soft, warm and timeless, so I recommend simple clothing in neutral and earthy tones.
Think:
Cream • beige • white • warm brown • soft tan • muted neutrals
Textures such as linen, cotton and knitwear photograph beautifully.
Try to avoid large logos, bold patterns and very bright colours, as these can distract from the connection between you.

You will also be able to choose from my closet of newborn and mumma outfits!
I'm also happy to help you choose outfits before your session.
What If My Baby Won't Sleep?
That's completely okay.
Your baby doesn't need to sleep for beautiful photographs.
Some of the sweetest images are of babies looking around, stretching, yawning, feeding or simply being held by their parents.
Your baby doesn't have to perform for the camera.
We'll photograph them exactly as they are.
Can We Include Siblings?
Absolutely.
Your newborn session isn't just about your new baby — it's about your family becoming a little bigger.
We'll make time for photographs with siblings, parents and your whole family.
I'll keep things relaxed and won't expect young children to sit perfectly still.
Sometimes the cuddles, giggles and chaos make the photographs even more special.
How Long Will My Gallery Take?
You'll receive a small sneak peek within a few days of your session.
Your fully edited gallery will be delivered through a private online gallery within 2–3 weeks.
You'll be able to view, download and share your photographs from your online gallery.
Do you photograph babies older than 4 weeks?
Yes. While the first few weeks are ideal for traditional newborn photographs, and for those lovely sleepy shots, I welcome babies of all ages.
What if my baby cries?
We'll stop and comfort them. Babies cry -it's completely normal.
What if my baby needs to feed?
Feed whenever they need to. There is no schedule to follow during your session.
Can we include grandparents?
Yes, depending on the collection and session. Let me know beforehand so we can allow enough time.
Do you provide props?
I keep things simple and timeless rather than heavily prop-based. I provide selected wraps, newborn pieces, baskets and bowls, backdrops and accessories.
Do you offer studio sessions?
I offer a studio-style setup in your home, giving you the option for beautiful classic newborn portraits without needing to travel with your baby.
What happens if my baby is sick?
We'll always put your baby's health first. If they're unwell, we'll reschedule your session where possible.
Do I need a beautiful house?
Not at all. You don't need a perfectly styled home. I'll find the areas with the best light and guide you from there.
