My family photography sessions are relaxed, warm and connection-focused, designed to capture your family as you really are.
Whether we're exploring outdoors at golden hour or creating beautiful photographs in the comfort of your home, I'll gently guide you while leaving plenty of space for the natural moments to unfold.

The Golden Hour Experience
I believe family photographs should feel like your family, not a performance.
I'm a mostly natural-light photographer and love working with the light, movement and environment around you to create photographs that feel warm, natural and timeless.
I'll give you gentle direction when you need it, but I won't spend the whole session telling everyone where to stand.
Instead, I'll encourage cuddles, movement, play and connection, allowing your children to be themselves while I capture the moments happening naturally.

Outdoor Family Session: $150
A relaxed outdoor session designed around connection, movement and natural light.
Home Family Session: $250
A longer, relaxed session in the comfort of your own home, perfect for families wanting a combination of lifestyle photographs and gently styled portraits.
Session fees are payable at the time of booking to secure your date.

Photoshoot Day
Your session is relaxed, playful and completely centred around your family.
I’ll gently guide you when needed, while giving your children plenty of freedom to move, explore and be themselves.
We’ll capture a mix of softly posed portraits and natural, candid moments with time for cuddles, play and plenty of breaks along the way.
Nothing needs to be perfect, and nothing is rushed.
Choosing Your Images
After your session, I'll carefully prepare your images and send you a private online preview gallery.
Take your time looking through your photographs and choose the collection that feels right for you.
Whether you fall in love with a small selection of favourites or want to keep the whole story, you'll be able to select the images you love most.
Your chosen collection is paid for after viewing your gallery, before your final high-resolution images are delivered. Delivery time is roughly 2-4 weeks, with a sneak peak delivered in 2-5 days.

What Should We Wear?
Don't stress about everyone matching perfectly.
I recommend choosing soft, neutral and earthy colours that complement each other without looking identical.
Think:
Cream • beige • white • tan • warm brown • soft blue • muted earthy tones
Textures such as linen, cotton, knitwear and denim photograph beautifully.
For outdoor sessions, I'll also consider the location and season when helping you choose your outfits.
Complimentary Client Closet
Mum can also access my complimentary client closet, with carefully selected pieces designed to photograph beautifully and complement the warm, natural style of Golden Hour.
I'll help you put everything together so you don't have to spend hours wondering what everyone should wear.
What Happens On The Day?
On the day, we'll start slowly and allow everyone to settle in.
I'll guide you through a few gently posed photographs before allowing the session to naturally unfold through play, cuddles, movement and connection.
With younger children, we might play games, explore our surroundings, have races, tickle each other or simply cuddle together.
You don't need to know how to pose. That's my job.
My aim is for you to spend the session enjoying your family rather than worrying about the camera.
And if the kids need a break, we take one.
What If My Children Won't Cooperate?
They don't have to.
Children are children.
They might be shy, energetic, silly, emotional or completely uninterested in having their photograph taken.
I'll never force a child to participate.
Instead, I'll work with their personality and let them warm up naturally.
Sometimes the photograph you treasure most is the one where they're running away laughing.
Can We Include Babies?
This is a paragraph. Click edit and enter your own text. You can make changes like making the text bold, underline or italic. This is a great place for you to tell your clients more about your story and to describe the type of photographer.
Can We Include Extended Family?
Yes, however there is a fee of $50pp ouside of immediate family.
If you'd like grandparents or other family members included, just let me know when enquiring.
For larger groups, I'll recommend the best session length and location so we have enough time to capture both the whole family and smaller individual connections.
When Is the Best Time for Family Photos?
There isn't one perfect age or season.
You can book family photographs to celebrate:

Or simply because you want to remember this version of your family.
If there's a particular season or location you're dreaming of, it's worth getting in touch early so we can plan around it.
How Long Until I Receive My Photos?
You'll receive a small sneak peek within a few days of your session.
Your full edited gallery will be delivered through a private online gallery within 2–3 weeks.
You'll be able to view, download and share your photographs directly from your gallery.
Do You Only Photograph Families With Young Children?
No. I photograph families at all stages, from newborns through to families with older children.
Do You Photograph Outdoors?
Yes. Outdoor sessions are one of my favourite ways to photograph families, particularly around golden hour.
Do You Photograph Families At Home?
Yes. In-home sessions are available and are particularly lovely for families with babies and younger children.
What If My House Isn't Photo-Worthy?
That's completely fine. I don't need your entire house to be photo-worthy. I'll find the spaces with the best light and work within those areas.
Can We Bring Our Dog?
Absolutely. If your dog is an important part of your family, I'd love to include them.
Do You Provide Outfits?
I have a complimentary client wardrobe available for Mum and babies, and I'll provide wardrobe guidance for the rest of your family.
How Far Do You Travel For Family Sessions?
I offer family photography across Perth, including in-home and outdoor sessions throughout my service area. Travel fees may apply for locations outside my included service area. Please see my 'Service Areas & Travel Fees' Page under the Photography Tab
